There isn't a release clause is there? (Based on no mention in any newspapers stories when valuations have been speculated on).

Don't think anybody knows. This time yesterday nobody would have said that Tielemans or Digne had one.

Until yesterday there wasn't many stories of both players being sold on,  where we have had all sorts of noise around Rogers including Man City able to buy him back for peanuts.

Man City don't have a clause that allows them to buy players from other clubs further down a players career. It's a made up story that makes no sense.

I can't imagine there is a release clause for Rogers.

He joined us on a fairly low wage due to his situation and standing, then was given a mega-bump (official contractual terminology) to put him up with our high earners.

I think there was enough to tempt him at that point to sign without putting a release clause in.

I still think it's inevitable he leaves.

You really think that last part is a thing?

Of course not, just stating that all the other noise around Rogers from the press and internet at large, and not one mention of a release clause. Tielemans and Digne have not had that type of reporting as they were never being sold until they were, hence no noise so no mention of clauses.

England stars Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers are to be offered the freedom of Dudley.

The boyhood friends, who grew up a few miles apart, shared the pitch together in Miami on Saturday as Bellingham's two goals sent the Three Lions through to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

Two days before England face Argentina at Atlanta Stadium for a place in the final, Dudley Borough Council named the pair among those to receive the freedom of the borough.

Council leader Patrick Harley said it was the "highest honour we can bestow", adding that it was reserved "for those whose service, achievements and dedication have made an exceptional contribution to our borough and its people".

The decision was announced at a meeting of full council on Monday and formal presentations are expected to take place later in the year.

It means Bellingham, from Stourbridge, and Rogers, from Halesowen, follow the likes of comedian Lenny Henry and wheelchair tennis player Jordanne Whiley.

Other names put forward on Monday included armed forces veterans, former Dudley College CEO Lowell Williams, Priory Park Boxing Club and councillor Shaukat Ali.

"This year's recipients represent the very best of Dudley," Harley said.

"From our armed forces veterans, who have shown extraordinary courage and sacrifice in service to our country, to community champions, sporting role models and dedicated public servants, each has made a lasting impact and brought great pride to our borough."

Free entry to the zoo and they have to open it for you if they're closed.
