How can you not like rhubarb? 

Horrible stuff. Grew like weeds in our back garden as a kid (despite me living on an industrial estate).
My job was to harvest, chop and freeze it. It was then distributed to older family members and my Nan's friends.

Tasted terrible.

Can't be doing with cooked apples either, so no Apple Crumble/Pie for me.

Rhubarb crumble > Apple crumble.  Rhubarb tart > Apple tart. Proper custard or ice-cream is fine with both.
