But they're all in the lovely kits?! I'd get down and watch some Sunday League if you want a bit of belly showing.

That would probably be more like it.  :P

Ornstein reporting that Man City have a confirmed deal with Forest for Anderson now. Don’t know the price and the article is paywalled.

Looks like 130 but that includes add-ons.
No add-ons, £116m fee.

'Manchester City have agreed a deal with Nottingham Forest to sign Elliot Anderson, with the package expected to be a British record fee worth £130m.'

The Guardian and other outlets saying the same. How is it getting to 130 then if the fee is 116?

Well I see the New York Times says it is 116 no add-ons but all the rest I see are saying a '130 deal'. Maybe they know something everyone else doesn't 🤷‍♂️.

Good player but Jesus Christ that’s an astonishing fee. All while being investigated as well, nothing to see here, carry on as normal.

It's about time we got some tame press onside and started unsettling a few of our targets.

David Hirst was a cracking player blighted by injuries.
He was fast, strong, skilful and loved a beer!

He was quite cute, right? Might have been a young Dogtanian's early crush.

Naw, footballers have never really been my thing, to be honest. Even when I was young.

They need to make em eat more pies.

None of them are Nick Frost, ammaright?

Very good news for us that. Not a penny less than the Anderson deal please. 5 years left on his deal.

Rogers is given the right to lose the ball under Emery and we see games where he can be very wasteful with possession. But this also enables him to be a game changer when it comes off and he is likely to become more effective over the next couple of years.
I do wonder if any other manager would give him that license. I just can not imagine for example Arteta or in fact the Emirates being that forgiving.

I think that is 100% on the money. If we recall his “style” did not suit City.

If Arsenal do sign Guimarães I don’t then see them lashing out another £120m on Morgan. And our lads lack of playing time at the WC might have cooled a bit of the interest in him. We don’t have to sell him but doing so allows us address other areas. If he does go I hope it’s to a major European side as opposed to PL.

That’s why I could see a bit of a Grealish scenario, goes to a club that reigns him in and by so doing chucks the talent out with the bath water.
