My most nervous was when I was down to take one at number 6 in a cup final shootout. Luckily we lost and it didn't get that far.

Great goal, bit lazy for my liking on left side but touch much improved. Think he's going to finish the season on fire.

A bit loose in possession again this weekend, but I don't know what Emery expects when he's shifted to play more centrally. He get's piled on in that position.

It’s weird as he’s been with us for two years, generally brilliant, and yet I don’t know his best position.

Off the left for me, but there's not much in it. Doesn't matter where we put him if he can't get/hold up the ball though. 15 touches in the first half, loses it 8 times. It's been his weakness all year so far and it's cost us a fair few times.

Surely we’ve had the better part of that hot-cold bargain, given that he was the biggest single difference-maker in that mad run of wins, by virtue of which we are where we are in the table? Am thinking of Leeds, West Ham, Man United, Brighton…

Saw a stat from last night on our Morgz, of his 50 touches, he gave the ball away 23 times.
That's a shocking stat.

He's had worse, I think it was 70% give away in that game where a completed pass was cheered.

He’s comfortably one of our absolute best players - we have absolutely run him into the ground though.

When was the last time he put 3-4 good performances back to back for us? Been struggling for quite a while.

I think there is a degree of truth in that, but also in that dreadful first month or so of the season, he was putting in exactly the same sort of performances as he has done for a while now, and that certainly won't have been tiredness

Yeah I don’t know what that was, but ultimately he’s contributed to a quarter of our goals in the league. He’s been key to where we are, and in spite of recent struggles he’s one of very few players who might win us the game Thursday.

Every time he gets the ball expectancy that he will do something amazing, is always high. It often doesn’t come off and leads to disappointment whereas somebody like, for arguments sake Barkley or Buendia, you don’t expect as much from them. Morgan does need to be more consistent and villa quite simply need three or four players of his quality.
