Davids was hardly a water carrier. He was a hell of a player.

Seedorf above all of them for me

Edit. Made no sense at all in the end.

I might save that for my gravestone.

Don't know why it would mean Unai is next.

Unai could go to Liverpool maybe and maybe Bayern or Barca if there were vacancies. That's about it for now. Not saying a year down the line other offers could occur.

Qualify for next season's CL and both (Unai and Morgan) stay IMO.

Thankfully United are a mess run by a Daft Old Racist.

I don't think what happens to Morgan though dictates what happens with Emery. I know people are going to talk about ambition etc but he knows the game, he knows players are sold to reinvest. I obviously don't want that to happen, but I don't think it's going to be some straw breaking the camels back.

I think Emery would encourage a sale, at the right price.

He’d back himself to find a replacement, plus the extra £100m would remove the current restrictions.

Ultimately, he’d have total control, whereas now there’s always a trade off with the accountants.

I'm surprised this talk of Rogers leaving has surfaced, bearing in mind it was only reported on the usually ridiculed Footy Insider (or whatever its called).

You don't need a link to any source. We have one of the best players in world football so people are expecting serious interest. I don't think he will go (particularly with CL football) but I understand people thinking he could.

Don’t sell him. No matter the price. For starters, I don’t back Unai to find a replacement. His hit rate so far is one player. This one.

Superb in the first half today. There was a faze of play when he was on the left hand side midway in our own half and he effortlessly went passed a couple of their players and set us on the attack. Lovely balance of skill and strength.

No I mean it comes down to two routes for me. We make the Champions League - teams will come for him but hopefully we’ll be able to keep him. We don’t make the Champions League places - he’s off. He’s a fantastic player, but we need some other attackers to pick up some of the slack.

It's only surfaced on here with with some posters fatalistic mindset. No one out there is talking about it.

Obviously it's nonsense, but if the football ecosystem is throwing these sorts of names and numbers around then I assume the same ecosystem is going to be talking about new world record transfer fees for Rogers if they want to talk about him leaving

Liverpool are the frontrunners in a race with Manchester City and Arsenal to sign Newcastle United's former Everton winger Anthony Gordon, 24, but the England international will cost £95m

I think Gordon is a decent player and I like him but geez, £95m, not a chance or if it does happen someone needs their head examined. What price Rogers if Gordon was to go for that price?
