Davids was hardly a water carrier. He was a hell of a player.

He was decent, but no Gavin McCann.

We have a lot of quality players, one of the best managers in the world and brilliant owners. Play our cards right and we are genuine title contenders next season if we keep Morgan Rogers.

Get Luiz up to speed, Bailey firing, qualify for Champions League, add extra quality in summer window, bit of luck with injuries, youngsters emerging and the world is our oyster.

It really p*sses me off when we start talking about selling our best player/s. Why do we even talk about it? If we act like a 'feeder club' we will always be a feeder club. I reckon the so called 'top 6' don't talk about selling their best players in peak form.

I bet Unai is telling Rogers the future is Aston Villa. He could well be right.

We need to add quality not talk about losing it.

If he were every to be sold we'd get very good money indeed. In this country you could only see Man City (to stop anyone else) or Chelsea (because they are tossers who seem to like signing everyone) being rich enough or prepared to spend that much. Madrid, PSG or Barca are the others who would likely be able to afford him/be prepared to pay.

If we keep improving and get Champs League again, then why not stay here? We've been better than all but two in this country so far this season, and are only marginally behind them. We've a real chance, with the ability to spend ourselves in the summer, to go for everything next season.

I get it, but if the player is good enough then everyone's a feeder club, apart from Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ronaldo went there when Man United were at their peak. Alexander-Arnold went there when Liverpool were at their peak. They are the pinnacle and there is a ladder. No point in denying it.

There will be serious 100m+ interest in Rogers this summer. Guaranteed. He might leave, he might not, but SCR has changed the game and taking the emotion out of it...I don't think we'll be turning down, say, 120m.

Madrid already have Jude Bellend.

Let's be positive.

Why not stay here? - £300k a week, I suppose.
I hope / think he'll stay if we make the ECL for next season, but anything less and he'll follow the money.
Which means we'll get some leeway on the SCR next season and bring in some new talent.

Morgan would stay and be the focal point and team leader here. He’s got his head switched on and knows he’s playing for the best manager in the league. He’s established himself above Jude Bellend in the national setup. We just need to deliver some success and he will be happy, I’m sure. If we sell him I think Unai would be next out of the door.

If we qualify for the CL he stays imo. And even if he ever does think of leaving the pool of clubs that need him, can afford him, and he'd want to join is pretty small.

Unai could gp to Liverpool maybe and maybe Bayern or Barca if there were vanacies. Thats about it for now. Not saying a year down the line it cpuldnt chanhe.

Qualify for  CL and both stay IMO. Thankfully United are a mess run by a Daft Old Racist.
