Well, based on how he's played for us so far this season and for parts of last season. That's based on using the money well though, and given our constraints.

If we use player trading as a means to increase Turnover then he is our most valuable asset to sell. However that’s looking at it as a purely PSR play rather than what he brings to our team. On song he’s one of the best half dozen players in the Premier League imv. Let’s see where we are after the World Cup as he’s going nowhere before then unless someone offers well north of £100m in January.

Offering 100m is, sadly, easy for clubs who hit the jackpot before the drawbridge was raised.  He is very clearly an ambitious young man and he won’t think twice if thebigsixminusspurs come a swooping with their war chest.

Does he even have a song? These days I only watch on TV but never hear one or when watching Villa on tour.

And this is our problem. Liverpool spent £126M on Isak, £109M on Wirtz and £82M on Ekitike in one transfer window.

He’s worth more than Wirtz

I'd sell for £100m because I trust Emery to just find someone else.

It all comes back being able to rely on recruitment and integration. If you know you're really strong there, you could make 3 quality additions in his place and strengthen the team as a whole. If you're not strong, you end up with Buendia, Bailey and Ings 2.0.
