I didn’t really see any real issues either and there was much less antagonism from rival fans than after many premier league games. I heard that some Lille fans came into a bar on Wednesday night and started to kick off and the police quickly arrived, asked no questions and tear gassed the bar.

All in all it was a cracking trip and most of the people we met were lovely.

There was no real bother from what I saw and the Lille fans were generally very friendly albeit they were a bit pissed off after the game.  I think Olympiacos will be a bit tougher.  This is travel advice from a West Ham site:

I don't know about shirt sponsors but we are restricted from betting online with UK bookies.

I doubt it being as we have a Greek betting sponsor from next season. (Although they don't sponsor any Greek teams but that might be more down to not wanting to be seen as a supporter of one of them).

I was looking online to see if we have ever played olympiakos and this looks like the 1st ever meeting between the clubs
