How easy will it be to get tickets in the home end for the away leg?

Should be fairly easy. Lille STH’s could buy up to 10, this morning , when they went on sale. It’ll 100% go to general sale. Go to their website and create an account. Takes two minutes. Then keep an eye out for the general sale release date.
The only potential drawback is if they block new UK accounts. I opened one last week and they’re sending me emails for buying their league games, so I presume I’m ok.

Your ahead of the game Lenny

How far down the criteria do we reckon this is going to go? I’m assuming it’ll make the Friday 10am slot but might sell out there?

What are the French fans like for opposing fans sitting amongst them? I’d be looking to get a few in the home end but won’t bother if there’s going to be loads of hassle.

Sat on the border of the Lugdenums at Lyon with my now wife who had been living there's for over a year and she got a load of abuse for being blonde and blue eyed.l (was 2006-7). Likely due to history of the French resistance in Lyon and her apparent Aryan appearance (despite being at Italian Brummie).

Well done to anyone who has attended every away game in the Conference league - you must have a lot of annual leave from work!!

I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon at 4pm before i can try to get one - i have no chance of getting a ticket.

Just noticed that the 12 and 2pm qualification for ticket is either 2 or 1 home  games and 1 away - I thought that you had to have been to 3 home games to get an away ticket?

They’ve changed the criteria for Europa Conf away games for just about every game so far. They used the domestic away criteria for Hibs, it got to STHs for Warsaw, it was a bun fight for Alkmaar, Mostar was the “every away game”
500 only, then from recollection Ajax got to STHs again but with 3 Home Europa games. They’re keeping it tight and not relaxing the criteria too much but if we get to the final anyone with a European away on their record is pretty much guaranteed a ticket.

Whilst I appreciate that ST's should get benefits ahead of Members on top of significantly lower ticket prices, but it would be nice if they even mentioned a potential window for members, especially when there is a criteria for an ST who has attend just one home CL games, when members could have been to all 3 group fixtures

I guess that means us Members have absolutely no chance of getting an away or final ticket if we are not even mentioned before someone who might only attend 1 CL match

The Résistance angle seems a bit far-fetched to me. Blonde with blue-eyes is definitely a stereotypical (and inaccurate) portrayal of what some consider 'proper' white French people to be. Maybe they thought she looked like one of the Le Pen women (although that does tie inwith the anti-Extreme Right sentiment) ;-)

French people are generally very tolerant and unlikely to want to bash your head in just because you don't support their team, unlike some fat baldy, pale-faced gammon connoisseur blokes with lobster-coloured skin. But every club has their wankers. As in most places, if you are discreet and respectful you should be ok. Obviously might be best not to go in with the fan groupe that sing and let off flares and stuff, as they do have their excitable element.

No disagreement from me on that one, my son is a member and has been to all 5 Europa CL home ties.

Ticket sorted. Going by Eurostar. Will take longer from West Wales to London than on the train.

Is that because it’s further from West Wales to London that it is from London to Lille?

Also sorted. And also Eurostar. First time on it. Should be fun.
