Probably the toughest draws we could have got. And bith legs away 2nd leg

Nah, that would've been Fiorentina, well piss this.

I hope so because the winner of fenebache vs olympiakos 2nd leg goung there that both very hostile places to go. If our players thought legia was bad these two are on another level

What was bad about Legia away?

We lost

Tough draw.

Jonathan David has pace & can finish, so will be interesting to see how well we cope with his threat.

Umtiti is centre half. Used to play for Barcelona. Chelsea are after their other centre half to replace Silva, Leny Yoro.

Yoro is meant to be quite the prospect.

Yes, only 18 and already valued at €60m. PSG after him as well.

Will the 18th be an annoying early ko?

We lost and the players implied they struggled with the atmosphere

Would have been good if at least one of the games was at home 2nd leg but to get shafted on both is abit annoying

Won’t the home leg be early?

We lost to them over 2 legs in the Intertoto 2002. So this is a Lille meet again.

They did? Don't recall them implying that. Atmosphere largely passed you by after the first 10 minutes of detached white noise. Being absolutely all over the shop at the back is what cost us out there.

I wish Diaby had played there.  Quite like the Diaby Derby.

There could be a Fred Flinstone themed party afterward. A Diaby Derby Do.

Get Saunders back to host it. Or Smith.

There won't be bluebirds over, the white cliffs of Dover (unless Dinas tags along)

I remember that, we drew away, then saw them beat us 2-0 here from the Holte end.

The success of that Lille team were the thing that made the reputation of future Leicester and Southampton manager Claude Puel.
