Any guesses if the away leg will drop down to season ticket allocation? Not sure whether to take the risk on flights, as only plan on going if I can get a ticket.

It should. I’d estimate about 1700 have one European away so it should get to STHs.

Surely, it will go to those with a full away history first? That was the criteria at the start.

Actually you’re right Dogtanian it’ll be those with domestic away history.

Can't lie, this is the tie I'd wanted us to avoid. The positive is that should we win this, I wouldn't fear anyone beyond.

The bookies don't seem to agree, Ajax are 14/5 and we're 4/5 on to win the away game.

Brighton beat them 2-0 home and away. They’re not the Ajax of years gone by. And when going out and getting a past it Henderson is a “coup” that tells you a lot about where they are right now. Like any opponent you can’t take them for granted but if this Ajax team was named some opponent from one of the other smaller football countries we’d fully expect to do the job professionally and get through.

My early prediction, the Liverpool fans are going to hate us more than they hate Man U by the end of the season. I can already hear their squealy little voices, 'Not showing respect to 'Hendo', he's a legend and the abuse they gave to Jurgen, one of the greatest managers of all time, it's a fuckin' disgrace'.

For those of you able to get tickets - if you like Dutch and Belgian beers, I'd recommend the following bars:

https://www.cafebelgique.nl/

https://www.indewildeman.nl/

https://depraelamsterdam.nl/pages/oudezijds

or perhaps the best is Het Elfde Gebod on the Zeedijk, just across the road from Central Station

The timing of these 2 games could not be any worse.

Why?
We probably play our biggest Prem game of the season inbetween the 2 , Spurs at home. Huge game in the race for Champions League football.

We’ll be fine, just play the kids in the first Ajax match.

Tim every time we have a cup game coming up you peddle this stuff. Understand you prioritise the league, but everyone has different views, you don’t have to keep peddling the same point in various ways.

Just been destroyed on flight prices. Delayed booking because my mate wanted to check with his missus, and it's now cost an extra couple of hundred.  :-[

I haven't told him yet...  :-X

Although playing teams like Ajax under the lights is what European nights are for, I am a little disappointed we've got them so early.  I'm sure they feel the same about playing us.  Ajax are one of the better teams still left in it, and it would have been nice to avoid them until the semi at least.

Nothing to really fear though, they're below Alkmaar in the league this season.

I don't know about quality but as far as name brand attraction, its probably the match up the organisers would have wanted for the final. Sturum Graz vs Maccabi Haifa doesn't have quite the same ring of prestige to it.

Sorry but just to clarify - will it be European away history first then domestic away history ? I have Warsaw but only 7 domestic aways. Would be gutted if Warsaw didn't count for anything.
