Olsen's fit again, that's a relief.

did ok in his last game...right?

He's important in training for the confidence of the strikers, having Emi saving everything just makes them feel shite about themselves.

I know they're shite but starting with 10 seems unduly generous.

I don't think he was ever unfit. He's been out for about 6 or 7 weeks. Seems about the same Dendoncker was out for when he was on paternity leave.

Emery didn't sound very confident about Torres so he is unlikely to start.

Emery has said he's injured in a couple of pre-match press conferences. I think his injury just coincided with his new arrival.

Didn't see that. Maybe he was due back a bit sooner and picked up the knock. I'm sure initially it was paternity leave. Would he very Villa to pick up an injury when not even involved.

Pau and Tielemans are both training this week.

Neither of them were pictured on the most recent OS gurnathon training pictures.

Don’t shoot the messenger my brother

But room for a little more optimism hopefully

Thank McGrath for that.

Giving a fitness update, Unai Emery said: "Pau [Torres] is training with the group. Youri [Tielemens] started working with us as well this week.

"Maybe both could be in the squad with the possibility to play. We need to analyse their progress after they’ve been injured.

"Lucas Digne is not available for Sunday. I don’t know when he will exactly, as we’re not playing next week. Maybe after [he will be available]."

Doesn’t sound overly optimistic on Pau and Tielemans.

I reckon bench for the pair of them.

Disliking Everton more than Man Utd or Newcastle is so eccentric that I just have to respect it.

Was thinking the same. You have to love the irrationality of football dislikes.

Though loathing of Man U is of course, perfectly logical, captain.

Can't see Tielemans being put straight back in after a month out either. Hopefully he'll be o.k for the bench as he'll be excellent to put on the hour mark if Everton are leaving space at the back.

Think only change will be Cash starting his first prem game for a few weeks and Kons moving back centrally.

McNeill is out for them so they won't have much threat out wide.

As for the game....we should win but also wouldn't surprise me if it's one of those score early, missed a few more chances and then concede from a scrappy set piece types.

1-1.
