Given our record against them I should be more optimistic, but I always feel Everton away is tricky, especially if the likes of Pau are still out. I really hope we turn up and get a crucial win.

We need the likes of Tielemans / Torres back ASAP and Ramsey back to his old self. Diaby you would hope has a better 2nd half the season now he's acclimatised . Its going to be a tough 2nd half keeping this PPG going

Diaby hasnt had a bad start, 5 goals and 6 assists in all comps. Bailey and Tielemans improved and challenged him for minutes on the pitch, which is what we want. His form has suffered a bit, particularly when teams have dropped deep to counter his pace. The goal v Burnley should have give him a boost, granted that was a horrible miskick when he came on v Boro. The one worry I have is that when Bailey and him play together, they play like complete strangers. Sheff United game especially they were getting in each others way.

Diaby's clear main strength is pace, best to put a ball infront of him and let him put the afterburners on. He looks limited as a 10 with the ball at his feet

So frustrating....why did he play those few minutes against Burnley if he wasn't ready?  What about Tielemans as well?  Now out for over a month.

Tis the Villa way.  When have last had an injusrt that turned out to be less problematic / time consuming that initially thought?  There must be an example, but I can't think of one!?

Looks like McNeil should miss the game with his injury, according to Dyche's press conference.

Ah that's good news then. Probably means Tielemans is a bit further off actual game time though, but positive all the same. We've missed both of them.

through injury and suspensions you can see our midfield has looked a little disjointed. It will be good to have the gang back together. JJ hasn't warranted yet earning his starting spot back so if Tielemans can rejoin with SJM, Doug and Kamara it makes us so much stronger.
