Sunday 14th January, 2pm kick-off.

Anyone excited for this? I am.

Tight game but we nick it by one goal.

We could have Pau back and they could have DCL and McNeill out. We should be looking to win surely.

Its a game we should be winning given their poor form and players missing

We should win, but it'll be tight as they need a result. I'd happily take a 1-0 win now.

As an aside, wasn't this previously scheduled for Monday Jan. 15th, or has it been moved for their replay?

Given our recent difficulties breaking down deep, stubborn defences and getting turned by balls over the top, this match is basically our nightmare. I really hope we've got a plan.

They’ll probably try and do what they did in the League Cup game which we need to be ready for. That said our strongest team wins this.

We know how Dyche will set them up.
It won’t be pretty.
He will be happier with a draw than us.

That's the way I see it too, will be a slog like last season there. Buendia turned the game last season and we might need similar from the bench this time, might hold Bailey in reserve. Results are holding up in the main but Man City aside our performances have been a bit flat for a while now. Narrow one goal win will be perfect, get the first goal and their crowd will get very nervy. Lenglet has done ok but hope Torres is back as we will have a lot of the ball. I think Emery will bring Carlos back and drop Cash but I wouldn't.

Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Torres, Moreno, Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Ramsey, Diaby, Watkins.

Everton are at home and aside from a couple of recent slips they’ve done well. They are at home and won’t sit deep. They need points and will try to win. We will take advantage of their intent and win the game 3-1.

Watkins, SJM, Diaby
