I'm relying on this thread to follow the game, and the occasional look at the BBC site. I now understand the comments about Patrice Vera.

Excellent half Villa.  I'm confident Unai knows what's needed at HT. I would take JJ off early in the second half and give them Zaniolo to worry about

Zaniolo for Ramsey on 55', Moreno for Digne ten minutes later, Diaby for Watkins on 70' and move Zaniolo central.

Stick McPhee on for Konsa on 85' just to take the piss when we're 4-0 up.
Brilliant. But there's only sub windows. So one change needs to be a double sub.

Fair enough.  Zaniolo and Moreno both on 60.

Torres is obviously marvellous but Lenglet is doing a not half bad impersonation of him, it has to be said.

Still can't see us winning, they'll jammy their way back somehow. Although tbf they were the better team after the second.

That must have been Dougie's worst half for ages!

Stays like this, we're the winningest team in the division. Get one more and we're the  scoringest, too.

We'll be back under way shortly.

It's been over seven hours since Manchester United last scored a goal by the way.

Aston Villa are five goals away from going top. You never know...
