Lovely, just need to get a bit more control and pick them off for a couple of goals.

I imagine Unai won’t be happy with our lack of control since we scored a second so expecting him to sort it out.  Defensively superb though

If we can keep the score as it is I’m pretty sure 42 points makes us safe for next season. What a relief.
It would be nice to get  a few positions  higher from the relagation zone though.

JJ constantly losing possession. Manure are dire all we need to do is get hold of the loose second balls and it's game over but we aren't.

Zaniolo >>
Ramsey <<

at HT

Excellent half Villa.  I'm confident Unai knows what's needed at HT. I would take JJ off early in the second half and give them Zaniolo to worry about

Zaniolo for Ramsey on 55', Moreno for Digne ten minutes later, Diaby for Watkins on 70' and move Zaniolo central.

Stick McPhee on for Konsa on 85' just to take the piss when we're 4-0 up.

Glad to get in at half time still two to the good.

Trailed off a badly towards the end of that half. Missing the composure of Kamara and Torres. Get to 60+ mins plus with this and let Moreno and Diaby run the legs off them.

Manu just having a few "issues"  with the high line defence apparently. SHEESH!!!!!

I've seen this attitude a lot so far - that it's only a high line, it just a case of getting the run right, really easy to play against, etc. Long may they wallow in ignorance.

What I notice about our high line is that we play it, catch them offside, then immediately go right after them just in case, rather than just standing there with our hands in the air.

We where excellent as a team and every player also where. Lenglet and Carlos very assured and good. McGinn with MOTHalf perfomance. We ve been in control, though we have our moments playing out of the back that give them half chances but thats us. Long it shold continue.

Yes! I love that, really professional. Tuned in to the idea that the flag may come later on.

Serious comment, I don’t think we’re playing particularly well yet. If we can turn it up a notch and stop being sloppy in midfield, Man U will be in much greater trouble.
