I will snap your hand off if you offer me 3-0 to the Villa now.

I'd be happy with 1-0 to Villa.

It feels like he's risk averse. Like he's been told "do NOT lose the ball when attacking", so he's checking back instead of playing even an 80% ball forward.

Pretty much like a re-run of the Brentford match except we're not losing at HT. As expected tbh.

Bench looks more and more shit as the injuries pile up.

In no way is it the same game, Brentford were way more of a threat at this point.

They're defending with everyone back trying to catch up on the counter. We are slowing it right down again and overplaying it which is allowing them to get back in position 9 times out of 10.

It's literally deja vu!

We can still make some magic happen though if we speed things up. This ref is a clown though so expect more blatant fouls and no cards.

Martinez's saves against Brentford say otherwise. They're not the same.

The Clash played their first gig in Sheffield in July 1976. I googled this.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle worked in Sheffield as a doctor.
Source: Google.

Great book with ACD in it by Julian Barnes and set in Birmingham (kind of) about the Great Wyrley Outrages: Arthur & George

A sort of fiction based on fact.

We're slowing it down when we win it back because they've still got 7-8 players back and in position to close up the space. That's why there's no attacking intent, they're terrified of us catching them on the break.

Our game plan all year is that if we can't go through a team in a few passes we recycle and try to pull them out of shape.

Us getting the first yellow card of the game was as inevitable as the rising of the sun.
