Yeah but haven't they got nearly a team out injured?

No, Tottenham are the only team with any injuries.

And everyone's second team.

Who is the amateur who set up the pre match thread?
Pre-match. Fucking amateur!

Wow. I was joking. Did someone shit in your alphabet spaghetti? Hope you get as fired up with everyone else who puts thread at the end of the sentence.

I think he knows that.
Of course I do. I just didn't put a winky, did I?
And yes, 'thread' is superfluous as all you need is a clear subject title. For example: "Aston Villa vs Real Madrid Champions League Final Post-Match". We know it's a thread.

Nothing wrong with promoting clear communication. Obviously anyone writing titles like "Am I the only one...?" or "Do people think that...?", requiring you to click through to discover the subject need a severe kicking at least.

Hey Toronto! You have misinterpreted a post, not for the first time either. Perhaps a response to clear things up?

Not rocket science as I’m sure it’s generally the case for all games, but really important we get an early goal.

These next few games feel like very big ones. When you look at the fixtures list for December the Arsenal and City games were the ones that stood out. I would have hoped to get something out of 1 of them, but now that we've actually gone and won them both, it makes the "easier" fixtures seem like must wins, otherwise it negates those 2 great wins.

Expectations have been adjusted a little bit, and as much as people said we had to beat City and Arsenal to be considered in the title race, we really need to be beating the mid table teams, preferably comfortably, if we really want to be in the title race.

The team's that top at Xmas has won 10 of the last 15 PL titles. Of the 5 that didn't, it was Liverpool who led on four occasions plus Arsenal last season.

So there's a good chance we win it as long as Man City aren't top on Christmas Day.

Or if you want a less attractive omen, I'd bet we're the last team to be top at Christmas and then go on to not even finish in the top four.

Living proof that every dog has its day. Law of averages. In last pre match Premier League thread, predicted we would beat Arses 1-0 and McGinn to score.

Another tough one. A game of chess with studs!!

We have Unai, so 1-2 to the Villa. Watkins and Konsa to score.
