They do have an extra days rest, we however had the far more comfortable victory.

they do but that game will have taken a lot out of them also. Yes they won, and there will an emotional high and relief at the manner of their victory. But coming to a raucous Villa Park, they better hope they are not as careless at the back and in goal, because they could concede as many again without having the chance to score what they need to win. I'm not saying like Man City they will only have 2 shots on goal and no corners, but we won't be as easy to get chances against as Luton.

I reckon Arteta will be papping his calzoncillos.

Emery will be so up for this. I can’t see anything stopping this team the way they played against Man City!

Even before last night I was always more confident about the City game than Arsenal, mostly because of the rest factor, but also I thought City under the lights with a raucous crowd wouldn't fancy it.

If they can somehow summon the energy again for Saturday then we are good enough to beat them,  but everything will have to align.

Hopefully Emery will get us fired up for this one. He will feel the time has come to get one over on his old club.

I went 1-1 for the City game so 1-1 again, Saka is a huge threat who is capable of destroying any defender and has a great finish but if we can get something from the game it would be fantastic.

Play like we did last night though and we could win comfortably.

Sounds obvious but the fact we won will work wonders for the summoning of energy. A loss after that effort would have been hard to recover from in just a few days. Barring any physical problems I'd imagine they're bouncing into training tomorrow.

It's an earlier kick off but it will still be a night game under lights.  I'm not expecting a victory.  The worst would be to lose by 2 goals and not to have played well, the sound of that bubble bursting would be heart breaking.  1-1 would suit me just fine.

Unbeaten at home still has a nice ring to it.

Arsenal at Villa Park at Christmas to go top or thereabouts. 1989, 1998...the holy trinity.

Even if it means nearly sacrificing Santa again :)

Probably the most bizarre game I’ve ever been to

I’ll never forget being in the Holte End that day. :(

We'll still be unbeaten when we win.

1-0 Villa.

As good as last night was there was still a small element of "panic" at times, especially when it came to taking chances. If we can play as well as we did yesterday AND keep our usual levels of calm, we could put 3 or 4 past these. If Luton can, we certainly can. The only question is how many will they put past us.
