I hope those knobs from Arsenal fan TV have a miserable post match 'bantz'. Especially that massive twat with the big headphones.

Is that the same fella who dissed us after last season's game? If not, him as well.

Unfortunately I think they will bookend our winning home streak.
No they won’t. 3-1 villa
I think we've turned a corner. No more conceding goals at home either, along with winning every match.

Us 2-0 Them.

Does anyone have a link to a website that shows a detailed seating map of Villa Park? The only ones I see don't show the area and row.

I'll probably have to bring my work laptop with me to the game on Saturday as I won't be home for a few days afterwards. Would there likely be issues bringing in a laptop/with bag? If not, I think/hope my seat (upper Trinity) is right at the back and I won't have to an eye on the laptop bag all the time.

Have we beaten them at Villa Park in the league since the parachuting Santa debacle?

Personally, I'm going for a win. Smash these tarquin twats into oblivion.

We're Aston Villa and we're going to win the league (*one day soon).

Yes of course. The Trez goal to help keep us up first year back, then the year after with the early Ollie goal.

Oh yeah, of course we have - Memory not what it used to be!
That santa fixture (*bloody awful accident aside) was an absolute belter that sticks in the mind though. 2-0 down, then turn em over 3-2 in second half!

Not sure my nerves or extinction threatened hairline could cope with that this weekend mind!

There was a period under Deano we beat them 3 times in 6 months including twice at Villa Park 1-0!
Didn't concede a goal in those 3 games won in a row

Watching their crazy game against Luton they looked fast and sharp. Could be a cracking game and, given Man City's current slump, the real tester.
But we can still win can't we

fast and sharp going forward but weak and uncertain at the back. The game could be anything from a battering either way to a really tight draw, impossible to predict for me.

When I was rushing back from London for the Everton cup game, I messaged the club's Twitter support. This is the response I got:
"We would advise not bringing a laptop to the match if possible, as we cannot guarantee that this will be permitted into the stadium."

I've not wanted to win a game this badly since yesterday.

Even before last night I was always more confident about the City game than Arsenal, mostly because of the rest factor, but also I thought City under the lights with a raucous crowd wouldn't fancy it.

If they can somehow summon the energy again for Saturday then we are good enough to beat them,  but everything will have to align.

I was the opposite really.  I know they have got injuries at the moment, but I just feel that Manchester City have a higher 'ceiling" of performance than Arsenal.  If Manchester City turn up and play at the maximum they ate probably the best club side in the world, whereas I feel Arsenal do have an air of vulnerability about them.

The atmosphere is going to be absolutely electric on Saturday evening.  In the old days it would have been the kind of game where the queue to get into the Holte would have been stretching right back.

3-1 Villa. Their defence looks shaky. If we can press like last night we'll win.

A Dougie special direct from a corner would be quite satisfying given the links.
