The Amazon Prime post match interviews are painful to watch.

Been going for 57 years, that performance was as good as anything.

Odds now cut to 22/1 to win the title. Just saying.
Apparently, best start to a league season since 80/81. More food for thought.

I can't think of a better performance. A magical night. I love this team and I love Emery.

Rubs eyes in disbelief.  This team I'm watching is actually my team.

The 22 shots Villa fired at Ederson's goal are the most Pep Guardiola has seen his side face since taking over at City, whose meagre two efforts in total was a fair reflection of the hosts' superiority.

I'm 28 so I can quite comfortably say that's the best 90 mins from Villa I have ever seen.

No words.

Give Unai the statue.

I'm 40 and I can safely say the same

I'm 53 and that performance is up there with the best, considering the opposition. 12/10 every player.
I'm 73 (this week) and can't wait to see a re-run as was out playing badminton! A wonderful early b'day pressie :-)

Hope you have a lovely birthday. The fact that you are 18 1/2 years older than me and still able to take part in active sports is making me take a long hard look at myself...
Cheers Martyn, I plan to! Got a match against Sussex o/70's coming up soon so need to keep myself moving.

Also loved the stat that those two shots for City were the fewest a Pep side has ever created in over 500 games.

Brilliant isn't it !!
Man City attempted just two shots in the match the fewest ever by a Pep Guardiola team in a game within Europe’s big-five leagues, while the 22 shots from Aston Villa was the joint-most faced by a Guardiola side in the same period (tonight his 535th such game)

Best Villa home performance since Sir Brian's Lions twatted red noses Manure at the start of 1995-96 season 👍
