I am 67 and my memories are probably tinted by time, those years in the 70,s
When we beat 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' 5-1 it was 5.0 at half time
Tonight was the most complete performance i can recall, they had a bit of possession after half time but we hunted them down and pushed forward.
On that showing we will beat anyone.
Anything is possible

I'm 28 so I can quite comfortably say that's the best 90 mins from Villa I have ever seen.

No words.

Give Unai the statue.

I'm 40 and I can safely say the same

I'm 53 and that performance is up there with the best, considering the opposition. 12/10 every player.
I'm 73 (this week) and can't wait to see a re-run as was out playing badminton! A wonderful early b'day pressie :-)

Hope you have a lovely birthday. The fact that you are 18 1/2 years older than me and still able to take part in active sports is making me take a long hard look at myself...

I was worried about Haaland v Torres, but apart from the early chance the gargoyle on steroids didn’t have a sniff.

Torres was magnificent, as were all of the back 4. Basically every player was brilliant.

Been going for 57 years, that performance was as good as anything.

Odds now cut to 22/1 to win the title. Just saying.

Thanks to Unai, Wes and Nassef, we are a really good side.  Great time to be a Villa fan.  Pride is back.

Nearly.  We need to play for a few draws along the way.

Emi 10
Konsa 10
Carlos 10
Torres 10
Digne 10
Douglas 10
Kamara 10
McGinn 10.5
Tielemans 10
Watkins 10
Bailey 11
Subs 10

Emery 11

That’s all.

This pretty much sums it up for me.  I have a hard time thinking of anyone that didn't play superbly tonight.  Emi had two world-class saves and then got the rest the night off.  Backline was immense as Haaland was invisible most the night.  2 shots for City all night and 22 for us, that's incredible!    Our midfield felt like it won every tackle and dribbled their way out of every tight situation.  Bailey looked like a threat every time he touched the ball, easily his best game for us.
