Is there no way Mostar can finish 2nd now? Seems like picking the lesser of 2 evils between AZ and Legia. (Although I think AZ were well behaved both games vs us?)

Is this a fair summary?

Legia were given tickets to distribute but refused.

The coach park was chose to be the best venue for distribution.

For those without tickets a big screen was also put on there to create an effective "fanzone"

Rather than comply supporters attacked police resulting in a police woman set on fire, three other injuries and injuries to horses and dogs.

Other supporters through projectiles at Villa supporters inside the ground.

Surely pretty straightforward statement for AVFC and WMP to Uefa?

Shocking if true, but I've not heard this from elsewhere.

Its on the Daily Mail website, with pics, looks like a flare thrown set fire to his/her trousers.

Unfortunately there's video footage with her screams. I think the bravery shown last night was astonishing really.

Six points away from second place with only game remaining I believe.

So........if it kicks off between AZ and Legia fans and they both get kicked out of the competition as punishment.

Alkmaar aren't taking an allocation over to Warsaw. It will be behind close doors I suspect.

If we meet them again in the final would we get their share of the tickets?

From the evidence of last night if that does happen you would have ticketless Legia fans roaming Athens mixed with Villa fans who may or may not have tickets. It probably wouldn't end well.

Considering the allocation for both clubs that make the final will be pitiful the chances of thousands of fans, especially if we make the final, without tickets will be high. Just got to hope that the organisation is on point.

I’ve read a few comments about Pet Shop Boy crowd/ mob etc, what’s all that about?

Their fans burst into a rendition of Go West by all accounts.

Legia are shite. They're getting nowhere near the final.

Not hearing the screams although sound is cut in places but the video in on the BBC website.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-67588149

Reports were all minor injuries so might be superficial burns and nothing serious. It looks like the flare got entangled in the clothing as they are hard to put out because all the fuel is contained within, dropping and rolling did not work either.

I'd seen reports of that too, not confirmed.

It was a flare I think, that got stuck on her when she was on the ground having taken a blow to the head.

The Polish guy who works in my building kind of shrugged his shoulders and said you have to expect a bit of trouble with football fans.

I think that may have been the case30/40 years ago here, but we live in a different world now.

Quote
Four police officers and police dogs were hurt in clashes with away fans, with one officer suffering concussion when he was hit by a flare.

Quote
The concussed officer's jacket caught fire after he was hit with a flare, but the jacket was removed quickly and he did not suffer burns.

The officer, sent by West Mercia Police to support the West Midlands force, was later taken to hospital with smoke inhalation after the smoke from the flare made it into his helmet.

Quote
Several police dogs suffered cuts to their paws from broken glass and two police horses were injured when they were punched.
