I dont think there was a fan zone or any attempt to create one. Not within the footprint of the ground.
The Athletic has spoken to local businesses in Alkmaar who allege Legia supporters left negative reviews on their relevant websites
Is this a fair summary?Legia were given tickets to distribute but refused. The coach park was chose to be the best venue for distribution. For those without tickets a big screen was also put on there to create an effective "fanzone"Rather than comply supporters attacked police resulting in a police woman set on fire, three other injuries and injuries to horses and dogs.Other supporters through projectiles at Villa supporters inside the ground.Surely pretty straightforward statement for AVFC and WMP to Uefa?

Shocking if true, but I've not heard this from elsewhere.
If they'd been let into the ground with or without tickets, you can only imagine what they'd have done once inside. Home fans would have been the next target & things would have escalated from there. Following that UEFA would have charged us with failing to control our fans. If we meet them again in the final would we get their share of the tickets?
