The police and the club got it right. They went looking for trouble and as the LW fan on the radio admitted they all met up in order to force their way into the ground as they were pissed off at their small allocation. When it became clear their tactic wasn’t going to work they kicked off. I’m glad they kept them out as they’d have smashed the place up and caused no end of trouble. Hopefully they don’t qualify.

I've never heard of the entire away support being denied entry . Seems a bit extreme . Might have been better to let them in and let them experience the catering service in the Doug Ellis as punishment. They've got off lightly here.

One thing I haven't seen is where did they all go? From about half time they seemed to vanish as I haven't seen any updates about them and is doesn't seem like many were about at full time.

So with WMP completely messing up tonight, I wonder what will happen next. We'll get a portion of the blame as it's our match. While Legia fans have a nasty element keeping them kettled on Witton Lane for hours and refusing them entry is piss poor. And tbh i'm not surprised they've reacted to that. I wonder if we'll get any punishment, both for this or future games as it seems WMP, us, and the city are incapable of coping.

I was walking along Witton Road when they came off the train. I heard several times the Police tell them to go into the ground and they weren’t interested. They came to cause trouble and many turned up without tickets. Its their own fault, nobody else’s and they should be kicked out. They did it in Holland and tried to storm the turnstiles which is why they had their allocation cut.
I’ve heard a Polish bloke on the radio and he said they decided that if they all couldn’t get in then no one would. They did it at Leicester as well. They should not be in the competition and from what I saw the Police did a good job.
Kick em out!!!!

Those with tickets admitted that they weren’t going in unless both those with and those without tickets were allowed entry. That was never going to happen.

They all be back on the building sites at 730am tomorrow if they're from the UK. If they've come over from Poland god knows probably down Broad Street now in Popworld and Reflex

Ah right, that's put a different slant on things. Seems it was a choregraphed protest/effort about reduced allocation. In that case police did totally the right thing as would've been real danger of crushing in the away end.

Thats also pretty impressive solidarity (see what I did there) for absolutely no-one to go in the ground with a ticket.

Plus, they love to march together in a group to the ground, clapping away in unison to the Pet Shop Boys greatest hits.

Does anyone know why WMP kept them in the car park?

It sounds like they were only supposed to be kept there for a bit but they started throwing stuff at the police, injuring 3, and the decision was taken to just not let them in.

Fully deserved to keep them out. There was warnings yesterday of potential violence from their thugs posing as fans.
