Must say I like that Ange. All he said after the game was 'wasn't a great tackle', which it wasn't! Stuck up for his team, perfectly complimentary about us, didn't get drawn into nonsense about referees, quite refreshing really. He and Unai seemed to share a nice chat.

I quite like Ange as well, he’s balanced in how he talks to the media. Contrast that with his north London rival who is a petulant toddler.

I do quite like Ange, but I do wonder how much longer the nice guy image is going to last. I was talking to a couple of decent Spurs fans on the train to London today, and they were worried about the run of games they've got coming up and what it will do to the boss.

If they turn on him though that would entirely be ridiculous of them.

They'll be fine once they get Maddison and the CBs back. Hopefully won't finish above us but they should be next in line ahead of Man. United and Newcastle so good progress on last season.

I like him too, the way they play the players must love him. They really impressed me with their commitment. They work extremely hard and move the ball quick.

Yep they’re clearly a pretty good side.

It reminds me of games in the past when we have played well against good teams for 45 minutes, not made the most of it and end up losing when they improve in the second half.

We were extremely poor first half. Disorganised and second best across the pitch. The system certainly didn't help. The high line was destroyed again and again by Spurs. Hopefully Uni will learn from that. Subs helped but I did feel Uni could have put Ramsey on earlier. Still 3 points is brilliant as is top 4. Hopefully we can find a system and team shape that works for us away from home.

However Maddison will be back for 4/5 games before he's injured again.

Agree with the comments about Postecoglou. He comes across very well.If ever he was to stumble upon this end of the Chester Road I’d gladly share a pint.

"On another day we would've had a few goals but it was a combination of outstanding goalkeeping and woodwork. From my perspective all I can ask is what they gave. The players played an outstanding game of football and as a manager that's all we can ask for."

I like that quote from Ange. Acknowledges Emi kept us in it a couple of times, doesn't look for excuses for the loss, and he's right, another day one thing is different and they'd have won. I do wonder how many losses they can suffer before the general atmosphere changes. I think they're a bit like us in the sense that the players have 100% bought into the manager's ethos, but unlike us their fans are used to being in the top 6 quite a lot over the last decade or so. It would be hugely disappointing for is if we fell off at some point this season, but really we're all just grateful to be experiencing life at the top again. I feel like Spurs fans have a sense of entitlement about it and won't be shy about getting on the team's back if they fall too far down the table.

I don’t like spurs really, not sure why, but Ange does seem like a good un. Quite refreshing to have the likes of him and Unai not droning on about decisions and refs like many of the others.

Pau’s celebration for his goal was very Platoonesque, absolutely wonderful.
