I was thinking last night, does he play Bailey and Diaby and try and exploit their high line (if they play it with half their defence out) or go with Tilemans to try and lay some balls through to the front two?

I feel oddly confident about this one, I'm not sure why.  1-4 to us.
I hope he starts Tilemans and keeps it solid, we have had problems away with teams that have come at us early and we have conceded.

I think you're right and besides, with Bert injured, we may need an option like Bailey off the bench.

We are going to batter these into the nearest funeral home. 3-1.*

*Note. If we lose, please don't bother coming onto the post-match thread haughtily trying to make those of us who are far too cocksure, arrogant, disrespectful etc. on this thread. I for one don't care. Football is about hope, expectation, crazy predictions and wild dreams. Which get dashed and mashed into the ground at regular intervals because that is what happens in football. Ta!

Think too much has been made of "depleted Spurs". I can see this one ending badly , we are not good enough away from home. Cash is a weakness , the high line of ours will be very vulnerable vs Son / Johnson .

We don't really play a high line.

Maybe start Tielemans and Diaby and keep Ramsey and Bailey for midweek game starters.

Given how good our options are in midfield it's taken us until December to really have positive selection issues.

But Spurs do and it will be Dier and Davies trying to play it.

They might play Royal as a CB which would be interesting

“Villa’s average offside height — essentially the distance from their own goal when the flag is raised — is 44.5 metres, which is the sixth-lowest in the Premier League.”

Just put my ticket in Apple Wallet.

Sitting more or less next to the great negotiator impersonator with Mrs OldHill AVFC (Spurs supporting Villa season ticket holder - don’t ask).

Hopefully be singing you’ve seen the Villa now f**k off home to Daniel - am sure he won’t mind after charging so much for the tickets.
