Who's the lad with the dreadlocks? https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2023/november/24/gallery--villa-prepare-for-spurs/
isn't that the lad we signed from Smethwick

Which one? lol.
Rico ?

Nah, looks nothing like Rico Richards, I think it's Triston Rowe but it's hard to be sure because the only photo of him that isn't really blurred is from the side.

Edit: makes sense as well, young right back/right-side centre back who's pretty highly regarded.

He seems to be with the other defenders in any pics, so this makes sense to me too.

Think you're right going by his mugshot and this on the OS - https://www.avfc.co.uk/players/u18/tristonrowe.

Looks like Rowe.

Him & Jimoh signed new pro deals fairly recently I think...

Yeah, his name was what came to mind and then I checked that image to be sure before I posted.

This one and the two back-to-back home fixtures in early December will be good indicators of where we are at really.

I was thinking last night, does he play Bailey and Diaby and try and exploit their high line (if they play it with half their defence out) or go with Tilemans to try and lay some balls through to the front two?

I feel oddly confident about this one, I'm not sure why.  1-4 to us.

There is only one more day till Villa plays again. I can hardly wait!
After seeing the other games and looking at the table, I believe there is a good potential of what I'll call capital gains.
It's a proper  match to declare our intention not only in the Champions League race but also in the disruption of these so called too clubs . I'm wishing for ultimate dream of winning the league.

Results going out way, plus a Villa victory, would be super.

I hope he starts Tilemans and keeps it solid, we have had problems away with teams that have come at us early and we have conceded.

Think too much has been made of "depleted Spurs". I can see this one ending badly , we are not good enough away from home. Cash is a weakness , the high line of ours will be very vulnerable vs Son / Johnson .
