The foul count is Villa 1-8 Fulham.
No cards yet.
You can guarantee that a Villa player will be first in the book for a nothing tackle.

Some people are not Southgate.

Quote
Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham

Not for the first time today there's some top defending by Ezri Konsa. This time the Villan stops Andreas Pereira racing onto a long ball. He hurts the Fulham player in the process but Pereira recovers quickly.

Referee: Simon Hooper.
Assistants: Adrian Holmes, Simon Long.
Fourth official: Darren England.
VAR: Michael Oliver.
Assistant VAR: Dan Robathan.

An anagram of Simon Hooper is 'mi porno shoe', which ought to give us all pause for thought on this day of days.

Only just now stopped laughing at this...

He looked a class above at the start of the season but has gone off the boil recently, but good movement for the goal. Hopefully gives him a confidance boost!

It’s an own goal though.

Why must you always be negative.

How is it negative to point out that he didn’t score? Take it up with the ref.

you’re implying it won’t give him a boost because his name won’t end up on the scoresheet, and called him shit the entire AZ match and just mentioned he’s below bar.

It’s like you go out of your way to highlight the worst. He’s fine, he’s one of our best players. He hasn’t turned to stone.

Oh do piss off.

You need a better therapist.

As I said, people get emotional on match threads when winning never mind a 14 hour round trip to see a defeat.

I don't think there was a particularly good pass on for him though.

You know the players won’t read this. No point getting this fired up after we score a goal however it arrived. Enjoy it. It’s a far cry from the days of claiming a player was shit or the club was because we routinely were. It’s momentary now versus all the time.
