Back to the match and i love how the crowd has been educated in the slow build up play at times and not getting restless anymore.

More and more teams will come to VP and park the bus and everything else and we have to break them down - some will be better at it than others (West Ham, Palace etc) so the slow, chess like strategic build up is critical in breaking them down.

Come here to play us (Brighton) and they get well and truly fucked up

It is wonderful to be us at the moment*

* please stop the Rooney songs - as funny as it is we should not be even considering them, as a nose friend said on Friday - we are not rivals, we are not even playing the same version of the game as they are

which was nice ;D

But it's something to occupy us during the training ground style possession based kickabouts we do until we decide to launch our next appearing out of nowhere blistering attacking move that rips the opposition apart.

I respect Luton for the honesty in that. It’s a rare case of a club being sensible and thinking long term.

True. Well, apart from having Ross Barkley on the books anyway :-)

I used to hate the plastic pitch wankers but i think this season, partly due to nostalgia and partly due to Nakamba, i hope that they stay up.
credit it where it's due their fans have a good dry sense of humour and self depreciating (i guess you have to coming from Luton). Though i do get frustrated with tinpot away grounds (Bournemouth i'm looking at you too) where you can never get a ticket to the away end

Still think that will rear its head if we have a run of losing 3 or 4 on spin at home with a couple of mistakes like Dendoncker yesterday and Kamara on Thursday costing big goals….will the crowd stick with it or turn quickly yelling for the ball to be lumped forward.  There’s still a good few shaking head / tutting every time the ball gets passed backwards if there isn’t a percentage ball on.

Its a minority now though, there are even regular rounds of applauds for passing round at the back now. Though to be fair if Donk hadn’t got away with that one yesterday…

Tutting passes just marks you out as a part timer these days.

Cool pic from the game, they're all perfectly in sync.

As a former centre-half, I have to admit that's got me a little bit tingly in the downstairs. A thing of true beauty.
Same!

Lots of heart emojis!

This picture is a thing of beauty
It’s up there with Michelangelo’s La Pietra as an art form

I'd like to think of that image as being a contender for Press Association photo of the year.

Seven billion hours on the training ground, yet we still get gibbering simpletons suggesting cheating forwards should be given the benefit of any doubt.

Yes Barkley and Townsend, two terrible signings. Wasted players picking up beer money with no interest in the team or Luton mission as illustrated by a free kick they had in late second half.  Townsend took it and instead of whipping it into the 6 yard box to give their big lads a chance he rolled it to Barkley at the edge of the area who was cumbersome in controlling the ball and was dispossessed. Two so called stars playing billy big boots for personal glory.
