That's a bit of a leap mate, he's not exactly begging for food because his parents can't afford to eat. Plus he was in the Netherlands, so his parents could obviously afford a match ticket, flight and hotel. It was a nice touch by the club, but I hate those signs, and now there are going to be loads of similar X Factor style sob stories doing the rounds, I'm sure. It's just a sense of entitlement.

This is how to deal with signs https://x.com/omermfc/status/1716923372192579969?s=46&t=fPyiXcae7CCzHj_x8UdphA
I can't stand those signs. We've got some good publicity from it though. My solution would be snipers on top of the stands to take out the begging little shits.
from villanews: Matty Cash – 4Contributed tellingly to the Aston Villa attack throughout the game but was actually handed the worst average score of any Villa player [via SofaScore] at a dreadful 6.1/10 and his underlying stats prove why, winning just three of his eight duels at a worrying success rate of 38%, lost possession 11 times and completed just one dribble given he’s expected to provide Villa with the width on the right.
I see that the reason the steward took the sign away is that they are banned in Dutch grounds, that's the kind of small minded pettyness I can really get on board with.
