Didn't think Dougie had one of his best games and he shouldn't have lost the ball the way he did for Wolves goal. Only adding this because Pau's getting the brunt of the criticism but he wasn't the only one at fault.

goal was Luiz's fault for dithering , but , Torres running in slow motion is a big worry , he can't be left with one on ones

Nobody loves by Tyrone more than me, and I've been critical of Torres especially at Anfield but we've found ourselves struggling down the left flank against Wolves in every game there since we came up.

Neto is particularly rapid and skillful and bang in form, he'd do that to almost anyone one on one.
Perhaps I should be clearer.  He may have beaten Ty one way or another, but I don't think he'd have been able to run right around the outside of him like that, Ty is just too quick and strong.  I was replying to a reference about Torres' pace, which I do think is an issue.

I know what you're saying but my point was I don't think it's cut and dried that the same thing wouldn't have happened. The key was to not let that situation happen, Neto running directly at our centre halves, which we'd pretty much managed to do but for Doug having a brain fart and leaving us exposed.

Luiz should be a long way down the list of blame for that goal. He was caught in possession but it was on the opposite wing and half way into their side of pitch. Torres was dragged out to the left but Digne covered inside of him and Konsa was on their only forward. The way Torres was beaten in our box was piss poor, maybe Digne should have been closer and no way Konsa, watching all this develop, should have let their forward run across him to score at near post. Fine finish, mind.

Neto nearly did same to Carlos not long after only for Kamara to bail him out. Co commentator thought it was a penalty but I thought Kamara was strong when he needed to be. Can't have two centre backs in a three with tree stumps for legs when they have to turn.

The co commentator was an absolute prick.  I assume an ex-Wolves player but not sure who.

I had to watch this game on my phone in sneaky mode, as we had family over for a paëlla. Also, I'd had a bit of champagne, wine and some 12 year-old Jameson so I can just about remember the score.

Luiz was clearly to blame.  If he doesn't screw up fumbling control of the ball then we don't get caught out.  They were hopeful of an opportunity like that and we presented it.  The defense being out of position didn't help either.  Even so, the killer was the nick off Digne's leg which guided the ball to the scorer but it starts with Luiz.

I still don't think Emery is getting the set up quite right away from home. We'd have been better with McGinn on the right ahead of Cash at right back. Cash is fine as an attacking right back who likes to get forward, but as a full time winger/wing back he doesn't look as good. The three central defenders all playing hasn't worked brilliantly either, and I think that partly explains our more disjointed performances in away games.

I can't agree with that, it wasn't like Doug was under huge pressure in a difficult position, we were well on the attack and it was extremely sloppy just when we couldn't afford it.
