Only one team can to win that game today.
With a little more composure we hammer them today, especially last 10 mins.
Sa and Neto are their only decent players.

A point will do. They are crap, but they always somehow bring us down to their level, sorry #levels, when they play us. And Sa always looks like the best keeper in the world when we play them, too.

I have a feeling too that poor Zaniolo will never score a goal for us.

I hope to be proven wrong but so far in a Villa shirt, Zaniolo has been all fart and no poo

Bit harsh. He's always involved but his decision making was a bit off. Still very close for winning it right at the end.

Did we really need the three CBs to finish the game? I dunno. Wolves just gave up crossing the halfway line as soon as the red happened so felt like 5 minutes of Traore was needed to see if he could conjour up a goal out of nothing.

He was hardly involved at all today, I've rarely seen a sub have such a minimal effect on a game.

He was terrible when he first came in but finished strongly. Inches away from the winner, forced the second yellow for the Wolves player. Incredibly slow though and ideally we need another version of Diaby when he isn't firing. Buendia also had a lot more about him on all evidence so far.

I’d break the bank for Neto. Top player and would massively improve us in wide positions.

yep , way too  good for them

They didn’t get the ball to him that often but when they did he was dangerous, good player.

Not a good game to watch but the sun was out.
We looked tired but we were the better team and you can tell how far we’ve come.
I think it was their tactic to put 11 behind the ball and go down holding their heads for 5 minutes.
It’s an away point and we’d have lost this before Emery arrived. We are definitely moving in the right direction apart from the defending for their goal.

Only saw last 10 mins or so and we dominated that part of the game and should of won. Still its a point away from home and we haven’t lost in the league since early September. 5th and not losing very often are great habits.

Zaniolo is still getting used to the Premier League. It can take 6 months to get up to speed. Still a draw is good although we deserved to win. More possession,  more shots, more corners than them. They beat us on fouls though, 19 against our 9!

We never seem to beat those fuckers.

Probably the worst I've seen from Diaby. Looked like he was still carrying an injury though s I'll give him some leeway.

Diaby and Kamara were flagging, think they was only ever going to do an hour.

Though the draw was a fair result.  I thought they were very solid and made it difficult for us.  We looked tired for the first time today - Diaby, Doguie etc all off there best.

Think the challange is the squad players we have are either injured (Ramsey & Emi would) or just haven't found any form Tielemans, Zaniolo.

With Zaniolo - I am slightly worried that will have to buy him - dont we if he plays enough games.

Not a great game or performance really, but we had three great chances in injury time to win it.  We had a few too many off the pace and a few who just didn’t look up for the physical nature of the game, so a point was not a bad result in the end I suppose.

Frustrating, but that's what they set out for; trying to nick a win.

We didn't have enough to break them down but we're the better team.

The constant fouling, and trying to get McGinn was ridiculous, and lots of free-kicks that should have been given, weren't. Watkins went to ground a few times and in the middle of the park would have been given. Including the shove. Why VAR didn't pick it up is nuts.

The constant fouling is a Man City/Pep trick that ironically worked against them last time out. The rotated their fouling too because in truth they didn’t have the individual quality to beat us. But it worked and we didn’t display the quality to beat them. It’s going to be like that for us against lesser sides who have a very different agenda to us. We need to improve and buy appropriately to counter that.

I think us being in the conference league had some impact on today's performance. Moving the game to Sunday doesn't make any difference.

A very poor spectacle. As someone mentioned in the match thread Wolves look like prime Pulis-era Stoke. And it now seems shoving someone deliberately in the middle of the back with a hand to put them off balance as they shoot is now a legitimate tackle. Terrible referee. Again!
We should demand a replay for incorrect VAR decision lol

Decent away point.
We would have won that if we had JJ and Buendia and Moreno on the pitch.
The new players are not quite at their level. Yet.
