Fair play to Digne for busting a lung in the 85th minute to create just enough of a distraction for a bit of extra space to open up for JJ

Stuart Pearce still banging on about how the game's on a knife edge and how unlucky Brighton have been, the penalty-bottling twat.

Andy Townsend  on mine. and there is the fifth. Nice one JR.

Well, this was not what I expected at all going into this game. Very, very pleasing indeed.

What a finish that is from JJ, keep him fit and I reckon he gets into double figures this season.

Someone pointed out elsewhere that Newcastle battered us, Brighton battered Newcastle, and now we're battering Brighton. Funny how it goes.

There has to be a Chelsea or Man U sub that deserves it more.

As much as I feel smug about thrashing Brighton, I am actually really happy to see teams like Brighton and ourselves getting into the top few of the league.

I just hope that all of the teams - like Villa and Brighton can obliterate the rhetoric over the Premier League.
