Further proof the second string can’t be trusted/isn’t good enough.

Dougie and Torres only players to come through that with any credit. The rest were garbage… Front 3 (both the starting lineup and FT) were anonymous throughout.

Digne and Kamara were decent too when they came on. Tielemans looks finished at this level unfortunately. Emery picked a farce of a team and we were fortunate Everton didn't put us away in the first half.

Tielemans is looking like a disastrous signing at the moment. What the fuck is up with the idle bastard?

He looked decent in preseason but you'd almost think the fact he wasn't automatically given a starting spot has got him throwing the toys out already.

I thought that was one of Luiz's worst displays for us, he was as bad as everybody else.

Is it true that Castore have just put in a complaint about him saying he makes their shirt look bad?

The players we added for this year, with Pau Torres, Clement Lenglet, Youri Tielemans, Nicolo Zaniolo and Moussa Diaby, we can feel stronger than last year and we can be contenders in different competitions because we can use different players, playing Sunday, playing Thursday, playing in cups. That is our challenge this year: try to be a contender and be ready with our players to take a high level in different competitions we are going to face.

Good evening. Sorry to the fans.

Exactly.  That's the second time this season already.

What's the point in resting Digne then bringing him on at half time anyway because it's painfully obvious that McGinn isn't a LB.  Don't they try these things out in training first?

As for Tielemans, I wouldn't even have him on the bench for the next few games.  Thinks he's Billy Big Bollocks because he played for fucking Leicester then plays like that.  Absolute waste of skin.

It's still very early in the season but I still don't have much faith in the first string. What I do know is that with our summer purchases, without injuries only Diaby would be in the first XI compared to last season.

I agree, but with that said Monchi better get back to work. Who knows if Zaniolo will stay, Tielemans is struggling, and Lenglet is just a stop-gap until we're healthy again at CB.

The squad has to be rotated. Unfortunately today we found out that some of those backups aren't up for it and have absolutely no sense of urgency when its their time.

McGinn at left back, what on earth was that about?
