I'm not sure I'm (55) target audience Nathan Dawe's pre-match entertainment......

No excuse, Duncan. Percy's twice your age and he loves it.

No Ramsey ??

Hope he hasn't gotten injured again.

I posted earlier - if you remember from the Chelsea game he took a bad knock on his ankle just after he came on.  He played through it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was swollen badly after the game.

I am confused why we aren't using the game to get some consistency with a settled back four.

Bringing in a player who has barely played at all, never mind at CB & pushing Torres to LB, where he looked shaky as fuck, seems very odd to me.

Hopefully I am given a lesson by the end of the game...

Would be nice to see a bit of Kellyman some time in the game.

I think the trouble is that, given the game coming up, the back four will be doing as much running as everyone else, and it'll be vital that they're 100% ready to go to compete with Mitoma et al.

Which means the only one who would be 100% would be Digne...

I accept what you are saying as an explanation & see some logic in it, but I have still have questions, lol...

I think its probably early enough in the season not to have to worry too much about tiredness & a solid consistent back four is important to get them all used to playing together in Emerys system & help eradicate some of those errors that have haunted us so far this season when playing someone half decent...

But hopefully we win both games & my words are rammed back down my throat... 👍

Donk at the back is an odd one.

Played there for Belgium at the WC I think as part of a 3. Looks like a back 4 tonight though. Good to have Carlos back involved.

That's a stronger lineup, overall, than the Legia one. I think.

Chambers and Lenglay not even on the bench 😬

No Ramsey

That was my first thought.
