I'm not overly familiar with Everton's squad. What kind of lineup is it they're sending out. Do they want to win?

it’s pretty strong for them, the fact they have Kelvin Injury starting suggests they are taking this very seriously.

We’ve gone a bit space jazz with the defensive selection.

I hope UKR doesn't read the match thread or he might post a link to some. :(

That's a stronger lineup, overall, than the Legia one. I think.

Chambers and Lenglay not even on the bench 😬

No Ramsey

He took a knock on Sunday on his ankle.

It’s an impressive bench!!

The team’s fine, considering the whole squad and getting individual players their first hand experience to carry us through the season. We’ve got goals in there!

I don’t care about Everton’s choices, as I have no idea about their options 😄

I basically don't understand the team! Let's see what happens.
straightforward 4-4-2

It could be, but who's playing where? And it could also be 3-5-2 conceivably.

You're probably right, but it's a strange one.

I am confused why we aren't using the game to get some consistency with a settled back four.

Bringing in a player who has barely played at all, never mind at CB & pushing Torres to LB, where he looked shaky as fuck, seems very odd to me.

Hopefully I am given a lesson by the end of the game...

Would be nice to see a bit of Kellyman some time in the game.

I think the trouble is that, given the game coming up, the back four will be doing as much running as everyone else, and it'll be vital that they're 100% ready to go to compete with Mitoma et al.

I think we'll have now tried every single possible defensive combination and formation, so going forward we will only use the good ones and concede very rarely.
