Man for man anyone swapped for any of ours?

Keeper Sanchez is good but not as good as ours
I do like Thiago but he is showing his age.
Apart from one run thought Jackson was anonymous
Sterling - never rated him and he ain't getting any better - possibly the only decision Southgate got right by dropping him.
Man bun - his best games were for Palace
Cole Palmer - Decent player but would not get ahead of Zaniolo / Ramsey for me

A lot of money for a lot of average crap - including the Manager

....I'd like to make a comment on the game-----------Caicedo £115,000,000?

See above, absolutely embarassing their midfield.

I think it shows that sometimes it isn't the player being great, but the coaching / rest of the team who raise their game higher. I suspect it is why De Zerbi wasn't fussed on losing a big chunk of midfield during the summer.

For that you do need very effective succession planning.

Haven't seen the Zaniolo shot yet, that was apparently well saved.

I know this probably wasn’t deliberate but Twatterface after the game had finished yesterday opened up the phone lines and said ‘we want to hear from Chelsea fans we want to hear from arsenal and spurs fans we want to hear from Brighton and Bournemouth fans and Liverpool and West Ham fans.’

It is approx one minute in on the SkySports video.

James and Chilwell would get in most PL teams. But as a team/club their decline since winning the CL has been epic. Lukaku was meant to bring them the PL title. Overpaid hugely for most players like Caicedo and Fernandez.

Fortunately, Poch thought he was too good to be the Villa manager when we were looking for one. Another cheque book Charlie.

I think on spending £115mil on him, Caicedo would have been playing though as even Klopp wouldn't have been able to resist the pressure from the owners or the fans to play the new expensive toy. The question then would be would Liverpool have been as successful in their first so many matches. Defensively they have been suspect but attacking wise they have been all out. So if they had got Caicedo in, something that is currently working well would have had to change.

I disagree about Poch.  He is a fine manager and a decent bloke who just so happens to have made the mistake of joining the American Circus at just the wrong time.

I agree but I'm pretty sure he'll turn them round.
