Tough game I think, a Roy Hodgson side is very unlikely to do like Everton or Burnley and give us the whole floor of the Red Sea to walk through. Hence why I think we should play Zaniolo (guile) over Bailey (wasteful speed) - I think there's a lot to come from a Zan-Diaby link up, two really intelligent and skillful players, and we'll need it to break down Palace.

Good work. Would've is great.

Unless you say "If we would've won we would've had three points" when everybody, except our overseas cousins who don't pay their waiting staff a living wage and whose chocolate tastes funny, knows that is "If we HAD won we would've had three points".

I prefer, "if we'd won we'd have had three points". I know it's merely a personal preference as to which words to contract, but "would've had" sounds a bit clunky to my sensitive ears.

I can’t wait for football to be back, even if we’re shit and we lose, I’d rather moan about that than international football. At least you get the anticipation and hope before hand. You win and it’s a great weekend, you lose, well at least it’s ours to grumble about.

When and why did Internationals start taking away so much of the weekends football.

Anyway, 3-0 us, back on form with a double from Ollie and for one for Diably.

I think we might struggle a bit with their pace up front, but ultimately win a tight game 2-1.

Yeah I’d go with that side.

Martinez too. 👍🏼

That's the only player and position that's a given.

You are missing the point©: the contraction of have to 've is what encourages the misuse of the preposition 'of' in its weak form, which is pronounced [əv], just like 've

The game at Liverpool has sewn enough doubts as to approach this game with far more trepidation than one should really. Palace are no Liverpool but then we have to guess at the defensive line up and wonder if changes are required further up the pitch. I'd give Rockin' All Over The World a go in place of Bailey but I don't think any further changes are required.

1-0

I think we'll win. Palace will make it uncomfortable and physical.

At least we don't have to see the annual shithousery of Zaha v Mings.

We either funeral teams or get funeralled.  I think this will be the former.  A routine 2-0 win.
