I think we are becoming a very good side, but I do think recently we've shown the odd defensive lapse, which we have got away with (since Newcastle, obvs), and I am concerned Liverpool will take any such chances.

I think the Newcastle game was a bit of a fluke. The Mings injury seemed to knock the collective stuffing out of the team. McGinn was subbed after 60 mins or so.

I thought we would lose in May but we dominated them the first half. Let us travel in hope ....

I feel so sorry for Liverpool having that potential disruption right before a game. No wait, it's karma for the Dougie bollocks you knobbers.

Would the Saudi team have to have had some kind of encouragement from Salah himself to be bidding like that to the club?

My guess is that is all being set up for next Summer, by which time Salah will only have one year left on his contract and will be a year older. There's no way, and Salah would know this, that Liverpool would countenance selling him on a day that would make it impossible for them to get in a big replacement.

Paul Merson has just said the Saudis will most likely return with a further bid upwards of £200m which Liverpool will find hard to turn down. Hopefully this happens before Sunday!

This Salah business is as likely to backfire on us as it is to mess them up. He'll probably come out all guns blazing on Sunday to prove to the fans he loves them.

If Paul Merson's past predictions are anything to go by, that means the Saudis will ban Salah from the country and invoice Liverpool for £50m for their trouble.

All the media talk is about the Salah bid...excellent (in a Mr Burns voice) as i fancy us to take the game to these fuckers.

Let Watkins run their shite defence ragged for 70 mins then bring on Duran to kick the balls out of them.

I fancy 1-2 Watkins / Diaby - their goal at the death but too little too late
