A streaky 2-1 to us. An even game, so not entirely undeserved, but enough to send Klopp into a full tooth-chomping meltdown.

There’s every chance we’ll lose, Liverpool away is a very tough game. But it’s bloody brilliant having a manager who you just know will have a tactical plan and can compete with anyone.
Exactly this. I think we are capable of giving pretty much anyone an almighty bloody nose. However they are a very very good team and it's at Anfield where they historically get assistance from officials when they need it most. My biggest fear fear is defensively were not quite there yet. The Newcastle game showed that. I'm not even going to predict a result but I can't wait to see what happens.

I think we'll hammer these their midfield and defence won't be good enough to deal with us.

Couldn't agree more.

The problem for me is that I don't think our defence can cope with their forward line either.
Its going to need a Tactical genius to unpick Liverpool as their right hand side is an attacking strength and also a defensive weakness.

Luckily for us we have a Tactical Genius.

Agree, there is a bit of pre Newcastle exuberance creeping in and that did not end well.

Think that red card was rescinded, so he can play.

On RAWK there's a general football and sports section with a thread for each team and sports.topic. We're about 200 topics back on page 5 just above the threads on Crawley Town and Watford. Let's hope they're taking a bit more notice of us come tomorrow evening.

Referee is Simon Hooper, back in charge of a PL game for the first time since not giving that penalty in the Man Utd/Wolves game.

Looking at that Spurs result this game feels a bit more important now. I know everyone expects them to revert to type eventually but I'd still rather keep the teams around us within touching distance, points wise.

They've Arsenal and Liverpool at home in Sept. We'll have a better idea of where they're at after those.

Yep, we've also got double the amount of games as them to think about most weeks for a while, so 6 points from these next 2 would be ideal. Them losing to Arsenal and Liverpool would be most welcome too, of course.
