If we get anything from this game it’ll be a good result.

I think we'll hammer these their midfield and defence won't be good enough to deal with us.

Couldn't agree more.

The problem for me is that I don't think our defence can cope with their forward line either.
Its going to need a Tactical genius to unpick Liverpool as their right hand side is an attacking strength and also a defensive weakness.

Luckily for us we have a Tactical Genius.

We'll miss Mings in this.

Last season at Anfield was imo his best ever game for us, colossus that day and ultimately amongst all the talking Salah will still be playing for them and Nunez finally showed some finishing so with Jota and Diaz also in the mix that's a very tough forward line to handle.

We'll get chances at the other end though. Feels a 2-2.

Looking at that Spurs result this game feels a bit more important now. I know everyone expects them to revert to type eventually but I'd still rather keep the teams around us within touching distance, points wise.

4 points is no issue. They must've been about 10 points clear of us last season when UE took over and still were comfortably clear of us in February.

I severely doubt it. If we win there it’ll be a cracking result, we’re not going to walk over them. They’ve got a lot of very good players and they’re playing at home.

Fair. I'm just thinking with us having to balance European games with the league, and them just having the league to focus on, I wouldn't want too big a gap opening up. Of course its very early days yet, but still, I think 3 points tomorrow would be huge for us. Although I would settle for 4 from the 2 games before the break.

3-1 imo. We'll win convincingly.

I hope you’re right, and definitely possible. Out of interest what did you predict the result of the Newcastle game to be? We’re much better prepared, and game ready now, but Liverpool away remains one of the toughest games to play.

A streaky 2-1 to us. An even game, so not entirely undeserved, but enough to send Klopp into a full tooth-chomping meltdown.

I think 5-1 to Vila, but hey.

Before the season I said to a few mates that I'd be happy with 7 points from the first 4 and would've been over the moon with anything more so a draw tomorrow would be a good result and a win would be fantastic. We shouldn't forget that we've had 3 away games in the first 4 and 2 of them against teams from the top 5 last season. That's a tough start to the season and with 2 extra european games in the mix I think we've had as very decent start to the year.

I've gone for a draw in the vote but I hope we can really test them because I think they look pretty weak defensively and we should be looking at scoring a couple at least.

Had us to win by a couple of goals 😢

I'll probably change my mind before kick off but at the moment I can see us smashing them early doors, silencing Anfield, and being 3-0 up before they score 1, batter us relentlessly and get another late on, and then it's anyone's guess if they get the equaliser or not.

If it ends in a draw I think I'd rather it be us that come from behind to nick a late equaliser. So depressing when we've got a lead for most of the game and only get a point in the end.

There's been at least two times we have been disgustingly close to beating them under Klopp. Play the team and not the name and we walk all over them imo I truly do believe this.

They've lost once in the last 43 at Anfield, and that was that game against Leeds.

This is as tough as they get and a point would be a good result.

Writing in from Dalkey in Ireland having spoken to a couple of “local” Scouse fans who are scared of Diaby. I trust their fear comes to fruition. Good luck lads. UTV.
