It's a long way from lichfield,Tamworth  etc where most of em live 😂

Does the second chap realise that he's rinsing the first chap?

And someone needs to explain to the first chap the meaning of 'self awareness'...

Bingo!! And that's why in their desperation to cling to that myth they make themselves look thick as shit.

Was there no press conference for this? Did we not bother because we’ve already funeralled them?

It's highly unlikely but not totally impossible that we mess this up and lose 6-5. I'd rather not have the embarrassment witnessed at Spurs, Chelsea and Everton this week where they had to bring on their big names because their 2nd string couldn't get the job done. I'd start as strong as possible, hopefully get another goal or two, then make changes at half time.

Tielemans and Bailey starting makes sense.

You're genuinely worried that a team with an interim manager can come in and bag six goals at VP?

You do know we are already 5-0 up!!? The teams mentioned were 1-0 down in fairly tight games.

Even if we lose we're still through unless they do a 0-6 funeralling.

Is that really necessary?

No. But its not impossible that a team with a new manager, playing for pride, against a team who could well be checked out of this tie already, could get a couple of goals early on, especially if we send out a bunch of kids, and Olsen, first half. And then things feel a bit uncomfortable and we have to bring on the bigger names to make sure we wrap it up. And like I said, that's embarrassing. I'd rather we sent out a decent 11 at the start, made 100% sure it's wrapped up, and then bring on kids, squad exiles, tea ladies, whoever.

You can tell we've all been damaged by the Villa over the years, when people are genuinely nervous about a 5 goal lead.
We need some Emery counselling (win a trophy), before we can move on i reckon.

Leeg is still mad about the 6-0 funeralling of Sunderland he missed out on.

It's not impossible a weakened Villa squad perform well and don't lose at all.

There is absolutely no chance there is any threat in this game - except the risk of the injury.

Emery won't mess about. He didn't get to be the man he is today by messing about. It'll be similar to the first leg and the Everton game, start strong, get business done, then rest some.

Not that any of them should need a rest, we've only played 4 games!
