Atmosphere seemed a bit flat at times today

Nothing more than a training game in the sun.
I just sat/stood and watched because there was never a chance they were going to get anywhere near us.

Not at all. It was just very easy with no jeopardy at all.

Pickford's challenge on Ollie which led to the penalty was reminiscent of the one which put Van Dyck out for the season.

Pickford's a thug.

I know footballers regularly make themselves look silly complaining about correct decisions made by the ref, but how Pickford had the audacity to moan about the most stonewall penalty you will see is incredible. He absolutely clattered Watkins and then went on to the ref as though it was some sort of massive injustice.

The arrogance of being undroppable for both club and country.

Torres looks good. Very composed.

He does, he's vision and a good pass, but he did get turned somewhat uncomfortably once in the first half. More Maypole island than the sixpence I expected.

An easy and rather comfortable win. We didnt even get out of second gear. It was important to bounce back after last week. Everton were shambolic but even so there were some promising performances out there.

I'd have booked him purely for complaining. Then again if I was a ref i'd book players for trying to claim a throw in that wasn't theirs

Not a great game to judge the defence on, but a good 90 minutes to get Torres in there and get some communication and what not happening. He seemed to be leading things a bit, which is good to see.
I'd start the same back 4 against Hibs, assuming Digne is still here, give them another run out together before Burnley next week. By the time we get to Livedpool at Anfield they should be a well gelled unit.

I'd be looking to keep Digne. His delivery was very good today.

Thought Jhon had been a bit heavy with his touch for his goal, but he recovered well.
yeah handed to him on a plate but his 1st touch was that of a rapist

Is there really any need for that?

NO

I would too. I know Moreno was brilliant for us last season, but if Digne's happy to stay and be a team player, I'd keep him, screw the wages!
