Who is the captain with McGinn and Mings both off?

Pathetic performance from manager right down to players.  Sheer negligence from Emery and the board not to strengthen this side more with more games.

Wilson coming on for Isak and scoring himself is exactly the sort of depth we lack in the final third.

Pretty sure he scored as many as Ollie in the end last season.

I like Watkins, but the Jawdies have two strikers better than him.

I think it's Luiz.

I reckon the injury to Mings has really impacted the players. That’s two bad ones in the few days for a very close knit group. But Mings is such a massive figure at the club on and off the pitch. We look lost without him.

You can't let your heads drop like that though, in any case we were dreadful with him on the pitch as well.

Where the fuck are the lines?

I'm angry now. They are better than this. This is a terrible result. Terrible.

Yes I was gutted when Barnes went to them. Always looked good against us and usually scored.

What a start to the season.

This is mid table at best unless they are genuine title challengers.

Pope has had what one save? Emi had several.

It's a poor defensive performance for sure. I think we are seeing some players not being up to snuff - Cash is certainly one, Bailey (obv) is another. But, actually, we started poorly and never really picked it up; which is down to Emery.

I didnt see this coming - we look completely shell shocked, and under prepared

Things I thought we had seen the last of it - this is an embarrassment.

Jesus. Has Mings’ injury fucked us before the season even started?

Gutted
