Sloppy at the back and punished for it.

I don't want it to sound like a pile-on but Jesus Christ, Bailey has been awful.

Special shout out to him for that pass direct to Isak on about 30 minutes.

Get him off FFS.

Emi has also got to be really fucking careful now too.

what was wrong with that villa free kick there

Offside I think, the exact same situation that occurred at the other end a short while ago, when the goalvwas allowed to stand.
foul on the edge of the box

digne never looked offside

fair enough , exactly what they did to Cash with the goal

Tielemans for Bailey is a very very very obvious half time substitution.

After awful first 10 minutes I actually think we've been o.k but we badly need some control in midfield, odd to see an Emery team not playing game at its own tempo.

Diaby looks like that long hoped for attack upgrade, not sure Ollie has the quality to link up effectively with him so that's the next issue but can look at that next summer.

Remain hopeful but we can't be going 3-1 down to this lot.

Newcastle are really dislikeable
Yes.

Isak had always struck me as a decent sort. Other than that though, bunch of bell-ends.

Isak is a superb player. He is the exact player who would be perfect for our team...

I was gutted when Newcastle signed him.

Indeed, it was Watkins who was offside in the middle when the free kick was taken, just as Isak was for their goal.

Coutinho will come on at 70 mins and score the winner. Or get his leg broken and red carded for his trouble. Both seem equally as likely.

Mental Half. Gutted to lose Mings. I thought we weren't alive to Newcastle at the start of the game but we've grown into it without ever bossing it.

Watkins should have scored, Dougie could have done better with his header from the corner, Bailey needs to come off.

We've played ok I think and Diaby looks a real threat. The high line is a blessing and a curse and today we've been caught out by it.

Bailey clearly isn't good enough for where we want to be.

Tielemans for Bailey at h-t.

The loss of Mings probably for some time is the worst thing that will come from this match.

Tight game, both sides absolute mansions of shit, they got away with one more so they're winning.

Being let down by individual moments really, most of them from Bailey, but Cash and Watkins nominated for worst supporting (Ollie's just having one of his 'only buildup' games, it's like tantric striker play).

We're so cursed with injuries - I really really hope for the best for Tyrone but it looked bad.

We knew that Cash is a weak link, Bailey is a fanny and that Watkins misses chances.
