Could always name 2 goalkeepers on the bench.

Our success against them last year came about by attacking Trippier so wouldn’t be surprised to see Watkins playing left of a two with  Diaby through the centre and Bailey drpopping off on the right.

I think he might start with the 4 MF across the middle SJM Tielmans Doug Camara.

we destroyed them all over the pitch pretty much from start to finish. Best performance I've seen in years

I think he'll start with three of those motherfuckers.

How will Howe try and outsmart Emery? We're not perfect.

He will start assertive, then, try to suss us out, then, ask for divine intervention from a greater being. It won’t be given.

Balls over the top for Wilson, try and go 1 up then time waste and shithouse, try and do the same again on the counter.

I hate Wilson and his smug face.

Good striker, though

Looking at a Newcastle forum, it appears they have some beef with ticketing. I'm not sure if they've done away with loyalty and made it a free for all, hard to see? They're unhappy anyway.

Think we also surprised Newcastle by playing a more direct style than we normally do under Unai.

Quickly moving it from Defence to the Forwards, rather than short passing through Midfield.

I think Emery will go that way too but not sure it will suit Tielemans out on the left where Ramsey played last season. Think Buendia will start playing off Watkins with Diaby held in reserve.

Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne, Kamara, McGinn, Tielemans, Buendia, Watkins.

Bench - Olsen, Chambers, Torres, Archer, Diaby, Bailey, Donk, Coutinho, Carlos

Unavailable - Ramsey, Moreno

starting with 10 will definitely surprise them.

Okokok. I've tempted fate by booking the same hotel in Newcastle that I stayed in after the 6-0. I'm tempted to wear the chequered-sided shirt from that season too, and go for a revenge motif.

I think we will concede, I reckon it may take a few games to get our defence as hardened as it was at the end of last season, but I think we will get something. I keep thinking 3-1 to us...

Deep-rooted pessimism will take more time to shake off for me. I'd be very happy with a draw as it stands.
