Any London heads watching this at the 6 Yard Box or whatever it's called in Elephant?

With the exception of the season behind closed doors, for too many years we've started the season slowly & left ourselves with an up hill task. I'm hoping this season will be different.

We're a very good side, with a top class manager. Nobody will brush us aside like they did in previous years.

Newcastle away is a tough start. Let's make a statement & let the media know we mean business.

High scoring draw, I'll go 2 each, be very tough as they are one of our genuine rivals for Top 6. Watkins and McGinn to score.

Dunno if it's been mentioned but as far as i'm aware the away section at Newcastle is now safe standing.

By the time you get up there you're to knackered to stand up.

I have a feeling that this week many pundits on tv and radio will predict Villa to finish 4th to 6th in the table. I think they already know we mean business. Fingers crossed, the proof will be in the eating of the pud.

I know we have our moments but Newcastle are huge on shithousing and time wasting. We need a way of combatting that.

Yup, with these new added time laws coming in it'll be midday Sunday before we get home

Typical Villa pessimism. 30 at least.

My team for Newcastle:

Martinez

Digne
Mings
Konsa
Cash

McGinn
Douglas
Kamara

Ramsey
Watkins
Diaby

Subs: Olson 🫣, Torres, Carlos, Tielemens, Buendia, Coutinho, Archer

That bench is STRONG.

Ramsey won't be fit (unless you mean Aaron) and the bench could be stronger by another two players. 😀

We're allowed another two now? Mad ting.

OK add Bailey and Chambers.

Swap Buendia for Ramsey 😉
