Anyone else think that Villa may put at least another 10% on match day prices due to the added time that will be played at matches!!?? Never ones to fail to spot a “fleece our fans” opportunity.

Is that the reputation of our current owners?

To be fair, I think they are great owners, and clearly Skerra is joking, but they're no slouches when it comes to ticket prices.

Do you think it is their the decision
I’m not sure they both sit around talking about what the ticket price should be

I know they’re ultimately responsible for stuff but it’s called delegation

"Owners" in the general sense of the direction of the management of the club.

Of course that’s a bit tongue-in-cheek and, I’m not referring to the actual owners. Just the people that are in charge of pricing, who I think are looking at any opportunity to get more out of the fans eg The Terrace View.

A barnstorming 3-3. The media to wet themselves over "Eddie Howe's Newcastle" We continue to be overlooked in favour of "big clubs"

I think we have obviously overtaken Leicester City's position as a threat to the regular top 4 or 5.
Newcastle are just another Manchester City and Chelsea type.
Villa will be doing as well, if not better, than Leicester when they were winning trophies and threatening the top 4. We may do this in reverse order, like top 5, then FA Cup, then League, but it's an upward curve, and I'm very excited to put Newcastle in their place next week.

My two concerns are Barnes and Wilson. others that can handle them.

Had a quick read of a pre-match thread on one of their forums, most think that neither will start.

I like what you say!
Please make it so! Both should start in my opinion, but I assume Newcastle like to have 10 men behind the ball. With that brute Dan Burn getting sent off for fouling our players. Emery wouldn't look once at him has no finesse belongs in lower leagues not the Champions League.
Emery will be roasting Howe once again!
I'm hoping to hear Peter Drury on commentary for sky sports
he's fantastic.

And best wishes to everyone who is going to support Saturday. I've never gone to St James or even Newcastle, and I doubt I'll ever visit that part of England but I've been told the away fans get placed in the higher tiers.
Well to me that's a sign we're above them!

Up the Villa!

I was all for us signing Barnes. Imagine having him and Diaby out wide.
