Thought I’d give Youri’s thread a little bump. He was superb today. Just ran the midfield. Easy to forget that we didn’t have him for a few games this season and it impacted our play and overall balance. He’s a delightful footballer. Nice to see him getting some credit here.

Think he got player of the match, didn't he? Much to the surprise of Steve Wilson and Stephen Warnock on the feed I watched, they assumed McGinn or Kamara.

Id be surprised too. Was that Tielemans that MGW ran off the back of for their goal? He was much better today, kept the ball moving but under little pressure.

He was incredible today. Him and Kamara were so good. When they are playing like this, there isn’t a better midfield duo in the country.

Does this mean you think it's fire 🔥🔥🔥

Or that we should burn it?

I know, and I don't really approve of either, but I felt a song for Youri based on Piano Man deserved the treatment.

Another captain.  In fact we have a few out there who would be captains of SJM wasn't about.  Fantastic player.

Loving the economy of the Tielemans "walking pass" thing that he does at the moment.
